Chickie's favourite joke

Well, it's really his first and only joke so far (which, of course, means I've heard it numerous times!)...

Q: Why is six afraid of seven?

A: Because seven eight nine.

He thinks it is an absolutely hilarious joke. It's so cute just how into it he is. Sometimes he's so excited by it that he completely mucks it up. He's so proud that he knows it though. Perhaps he's a stand-up comedian in the making.

I think I need to look out for some joke books for him or something. Expand the repertoire and all...

oooh that's a slippery slope you're on, give them the joke book means you like to hear jokes, laugh once and you hear them over and over and over and over and over

lol cute charm :)

sussanah, I think we're at the bottom of that slippery slope already.

Unfortunately we hear the same joke over and over (sometimes he'll say it five times in a row - and gets very upset if you don't co-operate). I was hoping for a little bit more variety!

NNNOOOOOO. Do not buy a joke book. Let grandma buy it and keep it at her house. It is so much better that way.

I'm with Tracey! Except I AM the Nanna. I say give it to the 'other' Nanna.

Excellent idea tracey! Might have to do that.

Unfortunately only one nanna to choose from here. J's parents live a few minutes from us, whereas mine are two states away.

So when he wants to tell a joke have him call your mom. If nothing else, he can leave them on the voicemail!! lol

I think two states is just about far enough!

My son loves the line out of the Hakuna Matata song from the Lion King.
"Hakuna Matata:
"Ah, what's amata?
"Nothin', what's the matter with you?"

He thinks that's the funniest thing he's ever heard.

The comments on here should be in a joke book. Very funny. At least Chickie 'gets' the joke. Mine are still making up jokes that have no sense or meaning. Still whatever makes them laugh.
