I'm very sorry to hear that sad news. I hope she had her anniversary party that she was so looking forward to.

Thanks for letting me know. I feel very sad. How can you be attached to someone you've never met? I hope she realized what an impact she had on everyone she touched. I will miss her.

Whilst she wasn't my first commenter, fairsCaPe was my first regular reader/commenter. It's a bit of a boost to the ego when you first have someone regularly coming to visit and read your stuff. I felt a connection simply because of that (not to mention getting to know her and her family through her blog).

It's sad but I have to say I was kind of expecting it when she commented she was in hospice care.

It is not possible to prepare yourself for loss, no matter how ill the person may be. I'm sorry for your loss.

You're right Tracey. I knew it had to be coming but actually getting confirmation was still a shock.

That is very sad :(
I sometimes followed over to her blog from your links, and worried that she hadn't updated in a while :(

The last time I read, I think she was sending a lock of hair to Japan. That's something i'd do.

Oh no!! I've been worrying about her and checking her blog but haven't since I've been on my little hiatus. This is so sad. If you have any link to her family, please send them my condolences and prayers!
