We saw it just before the clouds came over, got to see it at totallity though.

I wasn't expecting it to be quite so red myself.

Our camera wasn't any good for photos but Ian (the friend who took the flower pictures I've used for my photos) took some very nice ones indeed.

Hopefully he'll put them up on his site and I'll put up a link when he does.

Yep, got to see it, took some pictures, but now I am really tired. Why couldn't they schedule these things before bed time???

I saw some photos of it and it was lovely! I think Fairlie said something about the ancient people being amazed and perhaps frightened by it and I bet they were! Amazing how nature can still astound us, even with all of our technological wonders.

Yeah it's a shame some parts of the world couldn't see it (or it was at an inconvenient time hehe). It was quite lovely.

Chickie was a bit scared though.
