Tag! You're it.

I've been tagged by Charm School Reject. My first meme ever!

So, apparently I'm to name my 5 favourite Christmas tunes.

1. O Holy Night. Chokes me up every time.
2. Good King Wenceslas. Not sure why, I think I just like the tune.
3. Song of Joy. Ok, so not really a Christmas carol, but they always do it on the carols shows on the telly.
4. Six White Boomers. Fun and matches our season for Christmas (we don't get much of that).
5. The Chimney Song by Bob Rivers. Yeah, I know - twisted.

Ok, now I'm supposed to tag 5 people. Um... ok, randomly grabbed from my links:

Steve
Izzy
My Float
Zazzy
and
YOU!

Btw, leave a comment if you're a reader but I don't have you listed in my links. I'd like to see your list :)

1. Emmanuelle. Spelt wrong but a fantastic song.

2. Once in Royal David's City

3. As Shepherds watch their flocks (except i always sing the school child version - while shepherds wash their socks at night all watching ITV, the angel of the lord came down and switched to BBC)

4. the Snowman.

5. I can't think of a fifth. It's been so long since I went to a carol service that I can't remember them any more.

Now I've got to think of 5 people to pass it on to.

rofl velcro. I haven't heard that version of number 3. Chickie saw the Simpsons episode where Bart sings the 'Jingle Bells, Batman smells' version, last night. He nearly fell off the chair laughing.

On my way over to your blog, to see your choices steve :)

I'm still working on my choices, got to deal with the Divas thing first.

I taught my son the Batman Smells version....he loves it too and gets a big laugh out of inserting "Daddy" smells, "Mommy" laid an egg and other peoples names!

Ok, I'm just a little slow on the uptake!!

1. All I want for Christmas (is you). So singable. Not a real Christmas song but it always fills me with love and hope. Yes, I'm sentimental!
2. O Holy night. Such a lovely tune
3. The Little Drummer Boy. Chokes me up. That poor little kid...
4. Hark the herald angels sing
5. O Come All ye Faithful

I know there's one I absolutely love but I just can't summon it! Darn. Will add it to the list if I remember it! Oh wait, it's the John Lennon one.

And so this is Christmas. Because, you know, we're all hoping that next year will be a good one. And hope is everything.
