I am *such* a nerd...

I'm feeling a little nostalgic tonight. I was surfing youtube and found Gary Brolsma's numa numa video again. I have to admit I kinda like the song - it's catchy. So... I searched for the lyrics and I've been singing along with the original clip for the band O-Zone (well it says it's the original clip, I've no idea really).

All I can say is - I'm am such a nerd! Thank goodness I don't have a webcam huh?

You can find the (phonetic) lyrics here.

utube encourages us to be nerds. I was watching old Wham! videos a week or two ago. There's a little of everything on utube! LOL

I'm a big nerd too... I like the numa song and love you tube...

My friend Lucas Prata from New York is actually the one who sings the english version with Dan Belan from O Town... I don't know how long you've been reading my blog but If you go into my July archives and read the post called Weekend Summer Rush you'll see us all there...

Here's the link..

hehe, I'm obviously not over it yet. I've been going through and looking at all the other versions of it. I have to say I think the Lego and the World of Warcraft ones are best :) (though the WoW one is a bit too dark to see properly).

One thing that had me laughing was this comment on the Nike Numa Women version:

I don't know if dance moves are copyright protected, but if I was O-zone, I'd approach the owner about doing a Numa Numa video with this dance and these dancers. It might become the next Macarena or Chicken Dance (if you're old enough to remember these).

If you're old enough to remember these??? Jeez I must be ancient - lol.

Izzy - how cool! Is there a youtube vid showing him singing it, at all?

Oh and alex - I'm not ready for Blue to come back yet. They played it to death on radio/tv over here - I'm still sick of it :)
