Things I have learnt from my son

During daylight hours, no matter how tired you are, you never ever yawn. Ever! Yawns only ever occur during nighttime hours.

You do, on the other hand, do 'special burps' that indicate how tired you are.

So sayeth Chickie...

LOL at the special burps. Maybe it helps get oxygen to the brain???

hehe, and he gets most offended if you accidentally call it a yawn :)

Thanks for visiting.

I yawn all the time... I was told it helps open up your vocal cords. So yawning can be good.

Your son is a wise man. We should place him on a pedastool and worship his wise words and musings on life. I vote for the creation of Chukism!

izzy - to a 4 year old, yawns mean naps (not a good thing!). I just can't convince him that I don't actually want him to nap now (he won't go to sleep at decent time if he naps), so special burps it is.

carmelo - hehe. He comes out with an awful lot of odd sayings - could turn out to be a really strange religion!
