when Chickie asks me to drive home a different way (he loves his little 'adventures'). I'll be approaching our street from the other end (to usual) and he'll throw his hands in the air and cheer, saying 'Yay! We made it!'.
I'll readily admit to having poor navigation skills, but surely they're not that bad!

It's amazing what little things can please a child. That's pretty cute.
Yeah, sometimes they'll get all excited over the oddest things. I'd love to be able to hear what he's thinking some days!
Ah, that's very cute. I'm amazed that my son can remember things. If we drive a certain way, he'll tell me who lives that way, or remind that there's a park that he really likes, or even a library. It's a bit freaky for a two and a half year old!
I love that your son throws his hands up and cheers. Makes you wonder where he thought he would end up!
my float - I'm amazed at their memories too. My son is 4 and he's able to remember things from when he was quite young.
With or without a different-route driving adventure, I think I'll start doing the hands-up and cheer routine. It seems like fun, plus it might have the added benefits of amusing my spouse (she understands these kinds of things) while annoying our teenage children. That's like, win-win!
lol radioactive jam - that would be funny :)
